OneMekong AI & Technology
Harnessing AI and digital solutions to solve real-world challenges across the Mekong — climate, water, agriculture and education.
AI is a powerful tool, but it's not a silver bullet. We use it where it clearly helps — forecasting water levels, recognising crop diseases from a phone photo, translating climate alerts into local languages, summarising research for community leaders. We don't use it where simpler tools would do, and we never use it without rigorous evaluation in real conditions.
ML models for water-level, weather and crop-yield forecasting calibrated to Mekong conditions.
Models for crop-disease detection, fish-species identification and land-cover change.
Bilingual interfaces and machine translation for the Mekong's many languages.
On-device models for low-bandwidth, offline-first community use cases.
Every model is documented, evaluated for fairness, and released with known-limitation cards.
We train Mekong scientists and developers to build, evaluate and adapt these models locally.
